Shaoyang City Electric Machinery Factory Co., Ltd. was established in 2006, inheriting the state-owned Shaoyang Motor Factory founded in 1970. The company has always focused on the research and manufacturing of small and medium-sized hydropower equipment and professional motors. It has participated in the formulation of national standards for steel plant specific motors and now holds multiple technical patents. It is a national high-tech enterprise and has been awarded titles such as "Shaoyang City Star Technology Enterprise". It is also a member of the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association. The main products are small hydropower equipment and industrial motors.
In terms of small hydropower equipment, the company has been developing and producing hydro generator sets since the early 1980s, forming a complete series of below 4000KW (or generator frame size ≤ 3250), covering hydro generators, hydro turbines, intelligent control devices, and auxiliary systems. We can provide a one-stop solution from water to line for small and medium-sized hydropower stations, and offer maintenance and upgrading services for old units. The company has delivered over 1000 sets of water turbine generators, which are widely used in the construction or expansion of rural small hydropower stations in China, and exported to multiple countries in Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, and other regions.
